If not for the devotion of our dear friend, Leon “Stubby” Truman, we would not have the opportunity to look forward to gathering in the not too distant early autumn weekend to enjoy the camaraderie. This event is critically important to the fundraising efforts of the Chamber, and the tournament has become one that sponsors and players alike look forward to! Leon believed in the mission of the Chamber and its focus on serving its members and the communities of the Oxford Hills. It was through his hard work and devotion that this event has become one of the most unique and successful of its kind in the region, providing golfers of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy two full days of competition at Norway and Paris Hill country clubs! This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Chamber of Commerce, and critical to the organization’s ability to serve its members and the communities that it represents.
